Martin Sweeney is an assistive technology specialist with over 25 years of experience working for a number of nonprofit organizations and agencies both nationally and in California. Currently working as a training specialist for the Center for Accessible Technology (CforAT), Sweeney is part of a statewide BTOP project promoting Broadband adoption funded by the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) and the federal National Transportation and Information Administration (NTIA). Sweeney previously served as manager of the California AT Network (2006-09) and was the founding director of the Assistive Technology Project (1998-2005) for the Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center (FDLRC) in Los Angeles. Sweeney has served as a volunteer and board member for a number of community-based organizations including: • Tarjan Center at UCLA—A University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service; Community Advisory Committee |
